How We Started
We launched the Business Network with a simple Facebook page in October 2019 and have grown fairly quickly in terms of numbers and with many people realizing we are a serous network group of like-minded individuals whose common reason for joining is to find new clients, source new business relationships and help one another grow and expand.
Since October 2019, we have held monthly Network breakfasts and are slowly gaining momentum and attracting new members as well as enjoying our regular members who have supported us from the very beginning.

Director & Co-Founder
Wendy Stapleton
Wendy is from the UK and is the Managing Director of Hunt & Harris Real Estate. She moved to Dubai in 2003 and developed an incredibly successful real estate career. Working for several different companies in the market and was able to establish herself as a leading consultant for one of the most successful real estate companies in the UAE.
Her wealth of experience and depth of knowledge helped lay the foundation for what would soon become Hunt and Harris Real Estate in 2007. A passion and love of the business inspired her to set up an organization to support, entrepreneurs, new and existing small businesses in Ras Al Khaimah as well.
Director & Partner
Ron Williams
Meet Ron Williams, Managing Director of Ron Studios, an award-winning web design and marketing agency with a 20-year legacy across Dubai Media City, RAK, and Toronto.
As a Partner and Director at RAK Business Group (RBG), Ron has been the architect behind the platform’s evolution, introducing modern digital integrations and growth-focused concepts that have established RBG as the Northern Emirates’ premier networking hub. Through Ron Studios, he brings these same high-level marketing strategies and innovative product developments to RBG members. His focus is on providing businesses with the creative concepts and integrated solutions necessary to modernize their operations, expand their market reach, and drive measurable success.
Office & Events Coordinator
Mia Maya Torres
Mia plays an integral role in the operations of RAK Business Group, ensuring the smooth coordination of both office activities and monthly networking events. She is responsible for managing member interactions, supporting event execution, and maintaining the overall experience that RBG is known for.
With a strong attention to detail and a proactive approach, Mia helps ensure that every touchpoint, from first-time visitors to long-standing members, is handled with professionalism and efficiency, contributing to the continued growth and consistency of the RBG community.
WHAT WE DO
We do this by organizing a monthly network business breakfast held at a hotel located in Ras Al Khaimah. Each month we have a Speaker chosen from our members who will talk about their area of expertise.
Everyone is given the opportunity to introduce themselves and their business and there is plenty of opportunity to network before and after the event. Occasionally we have additional informal gatherings to meet at social occasions.
We are extremely proactive in building relationships, sharing referrals, and helping each other grow their business. We also have our social media platforms and what’s app group that enhance the membership experience.
